Here’s how it works:

  1. Set up a brief consultation with me, so I can answer any questions about the process and we can ensure I’m a good fit for you. We can schedule your first appointment at the end of the consultation. To set up your consultation:

    • Use my request consultation button at the bottom of this page to set your own appointment through my online scheduler

  2. After our consultation, I will send you a link. You will easily log onto the patient portal and fill out the intake forms - no need to print or mail anything, because I am a mostly paper-free office. You can also add a credit card here for payment. I use Stripe for credit card payments, which is a HIPAA-secure payment processing site. If you don’t want to add a credit card to store, you can pay with a card at the beginning of your session.

  3. Next, you start your counseling sessions

    • If you chose a video therapy session you, will receive a link in your email. You simply click the link and you will be taken to our meeting. You can also download the SimplePractice app to use from your phone, if preferred. I use SimplePractice, which is HIPAA-secure practice management software and very easy to use.

    • If you chose a phone session, I will call you at your scheduled appointment time.

Teletherapy saves you commuting time and allows you to do therapy with more convenience.
